About the program
This three-day conference is the first time that the International Kawasaki Disease Symposium is being held in a different venue besides Japan and the United States. The event will emphasize the latest advances in Kawasaki Disease and provide great networking opportunities and interaction among participants.

Simultaneous translation
Simultaneous translation and headsets will be provided for the conference sessions as at past IKDS. Oral presentations and Q and A sessions will be conducted in both English and Japanese with simultaneous translation.

Dinner events
Please join us for a celebration of Taiwanese music and culture with fine Taiwanese cuisine. Two dinner events are arranged by IX IKDS. The Welcome Reception on April 10 is included in the registration fee. Tickets for the Gala dinner on April 11 are required and can be purchased in advance for US$30.

Complimentary tour / Optional golf game
Complimentary Tours to the National Palace Museum are arranged in the mornings of both April 10 and April 11. If you are interested in golfing with other participants, please sign up upon registration, and golf fees will be at your own cost. Please be reminded that reservations are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Seating / Badge requirement
Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your are requested to wear your name badge at all times during the symposium as it serves as authorization for entry to all sessions including meetings, functions , excursions and dinner events.

Location and shuttle information
The conference venue, Grand Hotel, is located at 1, Chung Shan N. Rd., Sec. 4, Taipei, near Yuan-Shan MRT station, and public shuttle buses running between Yuan-Shan MRT station and Grand Hotel are available daily. The Organizing Committee will provide the free shuttle service for daily transportation to and fro among hotels and the conference venue. The precise timetable will be further announced on the website of IX IKDS in due course.
